My Story

I love painting! I feel so happy to create something inspired by nature in an abstract way and share it with others. If you love what I do have it in your life, in your home or anywhere to enjoy!

Born in England my family moved to Oregon on the northwest of the USA when I was five years old for a year. The huge scale of national parks and the crushing sound of the ocean are still very vivid in my mind.

Apart from student years I have lived most of my life on a small island and later with my husband and three children. It is here I learnt to draw and paint seascapes in watercolour.

In 2002 I was given three months to live and with huge amount of positivity against the odds, here I am! Now that's another story and inspires me to see life differently.

​

Before arriving in Cornwall we lived in Holland for a few years loving the lifestyle and colourful markets of vegetables and fabrics. It was here I made clothes under a canopy outside our house which has inspired my love of textiles.

In Cornwall I started to paint again. I met an artist scraping his painting with a credit card. This inspired me to paint in a more abstract way which I adore and I hope you will enjoy them also!
